Inspection Procedure

INSPECT FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSY
1. Remove the fuel sender gauge assy.
2. Check the float position is between E and F and measure the resistance between terminals 2 and 3 of the connector. Check that the resistance value changes continuously.

1. NG: REPLACE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSY
2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BETWEEN FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSY AND COMBINATION METER)
1. Remove the combination assy and fuel sender gauge.
2. Check the continuity between terminal 3 of fuel sender gauge and C9-10 of combination meter assy.
  Standard: There is continuity.
3. Check the continuity between terminal 2 of fuel sender gauge and C11-4 of combination meter assy.
  Standard: There is continuity.

1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.
