Fuel Sender Gauge

  1. Main Sender Inspection -  Measure the resistance between terminals No. 1 and 2 for each float position. See Fig 1. See INSPECTING FUEL MAIN SENDER GAUGE RESISTANCE  table. If resistance value is not as specified, replace the main sender gauge.

    E: Approx. 135.9-141.9 (5.348-5.588) Approx. 37.7-39.7
  2. Sub Sender Inspection -  Measure the resistance between terminals No. 1 and 2 for each float position. See Fig 2. See INSPECTING FUEL SUB SENDER GAUGE RESISTANCE  table. If resistance value is not as specified, replace the sub sender gauge.
