Instrument Panel (On-Vehicle Service): Disassembly

  1. REMOVE GLOVE BOX LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
  2. REMOVE CENTER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Remove the 3 screws and center bracket sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 AND NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLES 

    Using a screwdriver, remove the side defroster nozzles.

    HINT:

    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  4. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE GARNISH 

    Using a screwdriver, remove the defroster nozzle garnish.

    HINT:

    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  5. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY 

    Remove the 5 screws and defroster nozzle assembly.

  6. REMOVE NO. 5 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT 

    Remove the 2 screws and No. 5 side defroster nozzle duct.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT 

    Remove the screw and No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT 

    Remove the screw and No. 2 side defroster nozzle duct.

  9. REMOVE HEATER TO RESISTER NO. 1 DUCT 

    Remove the 2 screws and heater to register No. 1 duct.

  10. REMOVE HEATER TO RESISTER NO. 4 DUCT 

    Remove the 2 screws and heater to register No. 4 duct.

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 REGISTER 

    Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 register.

  12. REMOVE NO. 4 REGISTER 

    Remove the 2 screws and No. 4 register.

  13. REMOVE HEATER TO REGISTER CENTER SUB DUCT 

    Remove the 4 screws and heater to register center sub duct.

  14. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS 
    1. Remove the 5 screws.
    2. Disengage the clamps and remove the wire harness.

  15. REMOVE NO. 1 MOUNTING BRACKET 

    Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 mounting bracket.

  16. REMOVE AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR 
  17. REMOVE SOLAR SENSOR
