Fuel Sender Gauge

  1. Fuel Main Sender Gauge Resistance Inspection -  Measure the resistance between terminal Nos. 1 and 2 for each float position. See Fig 1. See INSPECTING FUEL MAIN SENDER GAUGE RESISTANCE  table. If the resistance value is not as specified, replace the main sender gauge. See FUEL PUMP under FUEL SYSTEM under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.

  2. Fuel Sub Sender Gauge Resistance Inspection -  Measure the resistance between terminal Nos. 1 and 2 for each float position. See Fig 2. See INSPECTING FUEL SUB SENDER GAUGE RESISTANCE  table. If the resistance value is not as specified, replace the sub sender gauge. See FUEL PUMP under FUEL SYSTEM under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.
