Disassembly & Reassembly

  1. Remove the combination meter from the instrument panel. See INSTRUMENT PANEL .
  2. Disconnect the telltale light assembly coil connector. See Fig 1.
  3. Remove the meter cover by disengaging a claw and removing the 4 screws.
  4. Remove the ECU plate by disconnecting the 4 flat circuit plates and removing the 16 clips.
  5. Remove the buzzer.
  6. Remove the meter glass by removing the 3 screws.
  7. Remove the decoration plate.
  8. Remove the speedometer by removing the 2 screws.
  9. Remove the tachometer, fuel receiver gauge and engine coolant temperature receiver gauge by removing the 4 screws.
  10. Remove the cold cathode tube with plate.
