Inspection Procedure
- DO ACTIVE TEST OF OBD II SCAN TOOL OR LEXUS HAND-HELD TESTER
- Check indicators and warning light operation.
- Connect the OBD II scan tool or LEXUS hand-held tester to DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch ON and push the OBD II scan tool or LEXUS hand-held tester main switch ON.
- Select the ACTIVE TEST mode on the OBD II scan tool or LEXUS hand-held tester.
- Check that light turn ON or OFF as the OBD II scan tool or LEXUS hand-held tester directs.
OK: The indicator or warning light operate normally.

- OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOM TABLE
- Check indicators and warning light operation.
