Removal (GS300, IS300, GS430, LS430 & LX470)

The PNP switch is located on side of transmission. Remove front exhaust pipe, if necessary. Disconnect Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch connector. Remove control shaft lever. See Figure. Pry off lock washer and remove nut. Remove bolt and PNP switch.
