Removal (IS 300)

  1. Remove front left wheel.
  2. Remove master cylinder. See MASTER CYLINDER .
  3. Disconnect vacuum hose from brake booster. Separate grommet from body through brake line. See Fig 1.
  4. Using special tool (09023-00100) and spanner, disconnect front-left brake line from flexible hose. Separate grommet from body through brake line.
  5. Disconnect front-left brake line from clamp.
  6. Remove bolts and disconnect clamps. Remove lower finish panel. Remove return spring, clip and clevis pin. Remove clevis and nuts.
  7. Move brake line down and back to allow removal of booster assembly. Remove booster and gasket.
