Removal (RX 300)

  1. Remove air cleaner assembly and drain brake fluid. See Fig 1.
  2. Disconnect brake fluid level warning switch harness connector.
  3. Make a paint line on hoses pointing forward. Using pliers, slide clip and disconnect brake hose from reservoir. Remove clip.
  4. Remove bolt and disconnect reservoir assembly from bracket.
  5. Using pliers, slide clips in direction of reservoir.
  6. Make a paint line on hoses pointing forward. Disconnect reservoir hoses from master cylinder and remove clips.
  7. Using special tool (09751-36011), disconnect brake lines.
  8. Remove nuts and bracket and pull out master cylinder and gasket.
  9. Remove reservoir with 2 reservoir hoses.
