Removal (LS 430)

  1. Remove engine room side cover. See Fig 1.
  2. Remove bolts and bracket and move aside engine room No. 3 R/B.
  3. Using a clean syringe, draw out brake fluid from master cylinder reservoir.
  4. Disconnect level warning switch harness connector.
  5. Remove clamp from brake lines. Using special tool (09751-36011), remove brake lines from master cylinder.
  6. Disconnect brake hose from reservoir.
  7. Remove nuts and pull out vacuum check valve bracket and master cylinder from brake booster.
