Removal & Installation (ES 300)
- Drain brake fluid.
- Remove front wheel.
- Remove union bolt and gasket from disc brake caliper. Disconnect flexible hose from disc brake caliper. For single piston type, see Fig 1. For twin piston type, see Fig 2.
- Remove 2 bolts and disc brake caliper.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Always replace union bolt gasket and flexible hose with NEW parts. Install the flexible hose lock securely in the lock hold of the disc brake caliper. Tighten 2 bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Bleed system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
- Check for brake fluid leakage.
- Install front wheel and tighten lug nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
