Assembly (GS 300, GS 430 & IS 300)

  1. Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to seal lips, sliding pins, dust boots, sliding bushing and caliper piston. See Figure.
  2. Tap new dust boots into torque plate with a 21 mm socket. Ensure that metal plate portion of dust boot fits snugly in torque plate.
  3. Insert sliding pin with sliding bushing into bottom side.
  4. To complete assembly, reverse disassembly procedure. Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
