Test No. 22: TRAC Off Indicator Abnormal Operation Or Does Not Illuminate

Disconnect instrument cluster harness connector "A". Ground instrument cluster cavity "A", terminal No. 1 and turn ignition on. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If TRAC OFF light illuminates, check White/Blue wire between instrument cluster and ABS & TRAC ECU. Repair as necessary. If wiring is okay, check ABS & TRAC ECU operation. See ANTI-LOCK BRAKES article in WIRING DIAGRAMS. Repair as necessary. If TRAC OFF light does not illuminate, check bulb. Replace if necessary and retest. If bulb is okay, replace circuit plate and retest.
