Test No. 20: Snow Indicator Abnormal Operation Or Does Not Illuminate

  1. Disconnect instrument cluster harness connector "C". Ground instrument cluster cavity "C", terminal No. 13 (Blue/White wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Turn ignition on. If SNOW indicator light illuminates, go to next step. If SNOW indicator light does not illuminate, check bulb. Replace as needed. If bulb is okay, replace circuit plate and retest.
  2. Check for continuity in Blue/White wire between instrument cluster and ECM. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If continuity is present, inspect ECM. If continuity is not present, repair Blue/White wire.
