Test No. 11: Fuel Level Warning Light Does Not Illuminate Or Remains Illuminated

  1. Disconnect instrument cluster harness connector "C". Ground harness connector "C", terminal No. 16 (Yellow wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Turn ignition on. If fuel level warning light illuminates, go to next step. If fuel level warning light does not illuminate, check light bulb. Replace as needed. If bulb is okay, replace circuit plate and retest.
  2. Check fuel level warning light and fuel level warning switch. See FUEL LEVEL WARNING LIGHT  under COMPONENT TESTS. Repair as necessary.
