Removal (RX300)

  1. Place mating marks on front drive shaft flanges. Remove 4 bolts, nuts and washers. Remove front drive shaft assembly. Insert cover in transfer case to prevent oil leakage.
  2. Depress brake pedal and loosen rear flange attaching hex bolts 1/2 turn. Place mating marks on rear drive shaft flanges. Remove 4 bolts, nuts and washers from flange. Remove center bearing support mounting bolts. Remove intermediate and rear drive shaft assembly. Place mating marks on intermediate shaft to rear shaft and separate shafts.
