Removal (RX300)

  1. Remove drive shaft. See DRIVE SHAFT  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. For either front or rear center support bearings, use a hammer and chisel to loosen staked part of nut. While holding flange nut with wrench, remove bearing nut and plate washer. Place mating marks on drive shaft and flange.
  2. Using Flange Puller Set (09950-4011), remove front or rear flange. Remove center bearing and plate washer. Turn center bearing by hand and check for smooth rotation. Check for cracks or damage to seals. If bearing is worn, damaged or does not rotate freely, replace bearing.
