Test No. 9: Tachometer Completely Inoperative

Disconnect instrument cluster harness connectors "B" and "D". Start engine. Using DVOM set to Hz (Hertz), measure voltage between harness connector "D", terminals No. 9 (Light Green wire) and No. 23 (White/Black wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If voltage fluctuates, replace circuit plate. If voltage does not fluctuate, repair Light Green wire between instrument cluster and igniter (SC300) or ECM (SC400).
