Test No. 26: Washer Level Warning Indicator Abnormal Operation Or Does Not Illuminate

  1. Disconnect instrument cluster harness connector "C". Ground instrument cluster cavity "C", terminal No. 5 and turn ignition on. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If light illuminates, go to next step. If light does not illuminate, check bulb. Replace if necessary. If bulb is okay, replace circuit plate and retest.
  2. Inspect Pink/Blue wire between instrument cluster and washer level warning switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair as necessary. If wire is okay, check washer level warning switch. See WASHER LEVEL WARNING SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS. Repair as necessary and retest.
