Fuel Gauge Resistance

Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Ensure gauge needle is resting on stop. Measure resistance between fuel gauge terminals on back of instrument cluster. See Fig 3. Ensure resistance is as specified at appropriate terminals. See FUEL GAUGE RESISTANCE  table. If resistance is not as specified, replace fuel gauge.
