Door Courtesy Switch
NOTE:
For testing of body control ECU side of door courtesy switch circuit, see appropriate BODY CONTROL SYSTEMS article.
Locate door courtesy switch to be tested. One switch is located in each door latch (total of 4 switches). With switch on (switch pin released), check for continuity between door courtesy switch terminals No. 1 and 2. See Fig 1. Ensure continuity is present only with switch pin released. Continuity should not be present with switch pin depressed. If continuity is not as specified, replace switch.
