Fuel Gauge Sending Unit: Main

Remove main fuel gauge sending unit. See FUEL GAUGE SENDING UNIT  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Measure resistance between terminal No. 2 and 3 at fuel gauge sending unit connector while moving float up and down. See Figure. Resistance should increase as float lowers. See MAIN FUEL GAUGE SENDING UNIT RESISTANCE  table. Replace main sending unit as necessary.
