Gauge Resistance
Remove instrument cluster. Refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Ensure gauge needle is resting on stop. Measure resistance between specified terminals on back of instrument cluster. See Fig 1. Also, refer to ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE GAUGE RESISTANCE table. Replace gauge if resistance is not as specified.
