Clearing Trouble Codes

Once repairs have been performed, trouble codes must be cleared from ECT ECU memory. Remove EFI 15-amp fuse for 10 seconds to clear memory in ECT ECU. EFI fuse is in fuse/relay box, located in engine compartment. Fuse may need to be removed for more than 10 seconds in cold ambient temperatures. Reinstall fuse.

NOTE: Trouble codes may also be cleared by disconnecting negative battery cable but memory for electronic components will also be canceled.
