DTC 67: Od Direct Clutch Speed Sensor (GS300, SC400 & Supra Turbo)

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ensure ignition is off. Access ECT ECU. See Figure, Figure and Figure . Disconnect ECT ECU harness connector and install check harness between ECT ECU and harness connector. Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between check harness terminals NCO+ and NCO-. See Figure. Resistance should be 560-680 ohms. If resistance is 560-680 ohms, replace ECT ECU and retest.
  2. If resistance is not 560-680 ohms, remove OD direct clutch speed sensor from transmission. See Figure, Figure and Figure . Measure resistance between speed sensor terminals. Resistance should be 560-680 ohms. If resistance is not 560-860 ohms, replace sensor and retest.
  3. If resistance is 560-680 ohms, inspect both circuits between ECT ECU and OD direct clutch speed sensor. See appropriate wiring diagram in WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair as necessary. If continuity exists in both circuits, check performance of OD direct clutch speed sensor. See OD DIRECT CLUTCH SPEED SENSOR under COMPONENT TESTS .
