Wheel Knuckle (G3260206): Installation

Install the wheel knuckle in the correct position.
Install and tighten the new shock absorber to wheel knuckle mounting nut and bolt.
Renew Part: Shock absorber to wheel knuckle mounting nut and bolt Quantity: 1 .

Torque

Stage 1: 80 Nm

Stage 2: 180°
Install the halfshaft into the wheel knuckle.
Install the front subframe.
Refer to: FRONT SUBFRAME .
- Install the wheel speed sensor.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
  Torque : 9 Nm
- Install the accelerometer sensor.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
  Torque : 9 Nm
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the brake cooling air duct.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
  Torque : 10 Nm
- Install the brake disc backplate.
- Install and tighten the 3 bolts.
  Torque : 10 Nm
Install the brake disc.
Refer to: BRAKE DISC .
NOTE: This step requires the aid of another technician.

- Apply and hold the footbrake.
- Install and tighten the new halfshaft nut.
  Renew Part: Front halfshaft nut Quantity: 1 .
  
  Torque
  
  Stage 1: 300 Nm
  
  Stage 2: Loosen: 90°
  
  Stage 3: 80 Nm
  
  Stage 4: 60°
Install the front wheel and tire.
