CLOCKSPRING (G2301155): Removal

NOTE:
    • This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
    • This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
  • The clockspring is not a serviceable item and must be replaced with the Steering Column Multifunction Switch.
  1. WARNING: Take extra care when handling Supplementary Restraint System (SRS) components.

    Make the SRS  safe.

    Refer to: SUPPLEMENTARY RESTRAINT SYSTEM HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .

  2. Remove the steering column multifunction switch and clockspring assembly.

    Refer to: STEERING COLUMN MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH .
