Passenger Airbag Deactivation Warning Indicator

The passenger airbag deactivation warning indicator is installed in the front overhead console and has 2 states:
- Passenger airbag 'OFF'.
- Passenger airbag 'ON'.
Operation of the warning indicator is controlled by the Restraints Control Module (RCM).
The BCM/GWM illuminates the indicator when:
- There is a fault with the passenger airbag firing circuit(s).
- The passenger airbag is disabled in the Instrument Cluster (IC) set-up menu and the front passenger seat is occupied (all except North American Specification (NAS), Australia and Japan market vehicles).
- Required by the occupant classification sensor system (NAS market vehicles only).
