Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) covers are installed on the Ingenium I4 2.0L petrol engine. The covers decrease the NVH experienced by the driver or passenger(s). The NVH covers are made of either a foam or a multi-layer mixed fiber and resin laminate composite depending on the application.
The NVH package consists the following:
- A NVH cover - Cylinder head front upper.
- A NVH cover - Cylinder head rear upper.
- A NVH cover - Front upper.
- A NVH cover - Continuous Variable Valve Lift (CVVL).
- A NVH cover - Left of the cylinder block.
- A NVH cover - Left upper.
- A NVH cover - Right of the cylinder block.
- A NVH cover - Oil pan.
