- Connect the Jaguar Land Rover approved battery support unit
- Connect the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to the vehicle and begin a new session
- Follow the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment prompts
- Select 'ECU Diagnostics'
- Select 'Instrument Panel Cluster Control Module' [IPC]
- Select 'Update ECU'
- Follow all on-screen instructions to complete the task
- If required, reset the vehicle to 'Transportation Mode'
- When all of the tasks are complete, exit the session
- Disconnect the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment and the Jaguar Land Rover approved battery support unit

- Instrument panel cluster control module software update required

NOTE:
- All user profiles need to be deleted before the instrument panel cluster control module software is updated
- On release of the vehicle, inform the customer that all user profiles from the 'Smart Setting Center' were deleted as a result of completing this software update and new profiles will need to be created
- Select the 'Settings' icon on the vehicle touchscreen
- Select 'All Settings'
- Select 'Smart Settings'
- Select ' Delete all profiles'
- Connect the Jaguar Land Rover approved battery support unit
- Connect the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to the vehicle and begin a new session
- Follow the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment prompts
- Select 'ECU Diagnostics'
- Select 'Instrument Panel Cluster Control Module' [IPC]
- Select 'Update ECU'
- Follow all on-screen instructions to complete the task
- If required, reset the vehicle to 'Transportation Mode'
- When all of the tasks are complete, exit the session
