Information And Message Center (G2298523): Overview

The message center is located in the IPC  .

On the IPC  conventional display it is in a central position between speedometer and the tachometer. The 7 inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT) display can be reconfigured to prioritize and refine the information presented to the driver.

The IPC  virtual display is a 12.3 inch High Definition (HD) TFT display. The IPC  virtual display allows a full digital display. The same information is available, the layout of the display is slightly different. The standard position for the message center is in the center of the display. The position may be moved around depending on the user selected view.

The message center displays vehicle related information to the driver, for example, engine temperature and fuel level.

A main menu is available which allows the driver to change settings for:

• Phone (if external source application connect)
• Media (if external source application connect)
• Driver assistance
• Trip
• Display
• Head Up Display (HUD)
• Vehicle settings
• Vehicle information.
