Kayak Carrier (G2262141): Installation

   Unlock and remove the roof cross bar side covers.

   1. Using the supplied key unlock the roof cross bar side covers.
   2. slide the side covers outwards.
   3. Move the roof cross bar side covers aside as illustrated.

   Slide out both of the finishers from the roof cross bars.

   Cut the roof cross bar finishers to length.

   1. Using a suitable cutting tool, cut the roof cross bar finishers using the measurements illustrated.
   2. Discard the smallest section of the roof cross bar finisher.

   Install the roof cross bar finishers.

   1. Insert the roof cross bar finisher and the fixing (B) into the roof cross bar as illustrated.
   2. Install the roof cross bar side covers and lock.

   Lower the kayak carrier onto the roof cross bar.

   1. Install the fixings (B and G) and the washers (E, D and F).
6. NOTE: Make sure the fixing is aligned with the lock before engaging.

   Lock the kayak carrier to the roof cross bars.

   1. Slide the lock as illustrated.
   2. Lock using the key (L).

   Lower the kayak carrier (K) onto the roof cross bar and secure with the fixings supplied.

8. Follow steps 4 to 8 for the other kayak carriers.

   Raise the kayak carriers as illustrated.

   With assistance, place the load onto the kayak carriers.

   Secure the load with the strap lock (J).

   Lock the strap with the strap lock (J).

   1. Lift the cover.
   2. Press the strap lock.
   3. Thread the strap through the lock.
   4. Close the cover.
   5. Lock with the key (L).

   Lift and slide the lock on the kayak carrier (K).

   Release the strap.

   Load the kayak carrier.

   1. Secure the strap.
   2. Lock the strap.
   3. Pull the strap tight.

   Using the key, lock the kayak carrier.

9. WARNING: Do not exceed 130 km/h or 80 mph.
