Front Row Seat (G2298869): Installation

  1. CAUTION:
    • Protect the surrounding trim to avoid damage.
    • Protect the surrounding paintwork to avoid damage.
    NOTE: This procedure requires the aid of another technician.

    With assistance, install the front row seat.

  2. Connect the main wiring harness electrical connector.
    • Install the front row seatbelt pretensioner.
    • Install and tighten the bolt.

      Renew Part: Front row seatbelt pretensioner bolt Quantity: 1 . 

      Torque  : 40 Nm 

    • Connect the front row seatbelt pretensioner electrical connector.
  4. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS .

  5. Move the front row seat forward.
  6. Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

    Torque  : 40 Nm 

  7. Move the front row seat backwards.
  8. Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

    Torque  : 40 Nm 

  9. Install the front row seat outer trim.
