Front Row Seat Height Adjustment Motor (G2833345): Repair

WARNING:

The front passenger seat occupant classification sensor is available only as a service kit. No attempt should be made to install individual components. Failure to follow this instruction may result in personal injury.
Edges of the seat frame are sharp and burry, make sure to wear cut proof gloves under the procedure. Failure to follow this instruction may result to personal injury.

NOTE:

This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.

Remove the front row seat cushion.
Refer to: FRONT ROW SEAT CUSHION .

- Disconnect the 8 electrical connectors.
- Release the 4 wiring harness clips.

Remove the front row seat suspension mat.

- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Release the front row seat module tray.
NOTE: Repeat this step for the other side.

Remove the bolt.

Release the front row seat frame.
CAUTION: Left hand thread.

NOTE: The frame will self-lift to highest position.

Remove the bolt.
NOTE: Depending on the seat specification, the height adjustment motor may be installed with 2 or 4 bolts.

- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Remove the front row seat height adjustment motor.
NOTE: Depending on the seat specification, the height adjustment motor may be installed with 2 or 4 bolts.

- Install the front row seat height adjustment motor.
- Install and tighten the 4 bolts.
  Torque : 10 Nm
CAUTION: Left hand thread.

- Position the height adjustment motor and install the bolt.
- Tighten the bolt.
  Torque : 28 Nm
NOTE: Repeat this step for the other side.

- Reposition the front row seat frame.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
  Torque : 10 Nm

- Install the front row seat module tray.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
  Torque : 2 Nm
Install the front row seat suspension mat.

- Secure the 4 wiring harness clips.
- Connect the 8 electrical connectors.
Install the front row seat cushion.
