Antenna (G2297334): Overview

A number of antennas are used for the various frequency reception requirements of the infotainment system.

A roof pod is installed and contains antennas for:

• Digital radio
• Global System for Mobile communications (GSM)
• Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)
• Global Positioning System (GPS)
• Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS) (North American Specification (NAS) only)
• external WiFi.

Radio and Television (TV) antennas are integrated into the rear quarter windows.

Foil antennas are located in the rear spoiler for Amplitude Modulation (AM) and Frequency Modulation (FM).

There are 2 antennas located centrally in the floor console. These antennas are used for vehicle WiFi and Bluetooth® reception.
