Rear Stabilizer Bar - Vehicles Without: Dynamic Suspension (G2341174): Removal
NOTE:

- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING
- Remove the rear air spring.
Refer to: REAR AIR SPRING
The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles with diesel engine
- Remove the rear silencer.
Refer to the appropriate service information
The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles with petrol engine
Release the 2 exhaust clamps.

CAUTION: Make sure that the exhaust system is supported with suitable retaining straps.NOTE: The step must be carried out on both sides.
Release the exhaust system from the 2 exhaust hanger mounting rubbers.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the exhaust system from the 2 exhaust hanger mounting rubbers.
- With assistance, remove the exhaust system.

NOTE: If equipped.
- Remove the 4 nuts.
- Remove the cover.

NOTE: If equipped.
- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Remove the bracket.

CAUTION: Use a wrench on the hexagon provided to prevent the ball joint rotating.NOTE:
- LH illustration shown, RH is similar.
- The step must be carried out on both sides.
- Remove the nut.
- Release the stabilizer bar.
- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Remove the 2 heatshields.
- Remove and discard the 2 nuts and bolts.
- Remove the stabilizer bar.
