Exhaust System - INGENIUM I6 3.0L Petrol (G2300912): Removal

WARNING: Observe due care when working near a hot exhaust system.

CAUTION: Make sure the exhaust system is supported at all times.

NOTE:

This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.

- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the wiring harness clip.
- Reposition the wiring harness away from the exhaust.
WARNING: This step requires the aid of another technician.

- Remove the 10 exhaust hanger bracket bolts.
- With the aid of another technician, remove the exhaust system.
NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

Remove the 6 exhaust hanger brackets from the exhaust system.
