Auxiliary Coolant Pump

The auxiliary coolant pump is an electric pump attached in a bracket, in the right of the engine compartment. When the engine is turned off, the auxiliary coolant pump provides engine coolant flow to prevent engine coolant boiling in the turbocharger. The auxiliary coolant pump also pumps the engine coolant from the cylinder block to the heater core.
