The Direct Current to Direct Current (DC/DC) converter housing is located under the floorpan below the right front row seat.
The DC/DC housing contains the following:
- DC/DC converter
- DC/DC converter electric cooling fan
- DC/DC converter electric cooling fan air duct (quantity 2)
- DC/DC converter housing wiring harness
- DC/DC converter busbar
- MHEV battery cables and connector
- Startup battery cable and ground cable with connector.

The Direct Current to Direct Current (DC/DC) converter wiring harness connects the following:
- Main wiring harness
- DC/DC converter
- DC/DC converter electric cooling fan.
The DC/DC converter busbar provides the electric connections for the following:
- DC/DC converter
- MHEV battery (positive)
- Ground and MHEV battery (ground)
- Startup battery (12V positive)
- MHEV battery cable (positive)
- MHEV battery cable (ground)
- Startup battery (12V positive)
- Ground.
The MHEV battery cables have a light blue outer covering. The MHEV cables connect the MHEV battery to the DC/DC converter.
The startup battery cable connects the DC/DC converter to the vehicle 12V systems and the startup battery.
The ground cable connects both the DC/DC converter and the MHEV battery components to the vehicle body ground connection. This provides the ground connection for the following:
- DC/DC converter 12V electrical ground
- The MHEV battery components electrical ground
