Front Row Seat Pan Bracket (G2833313): Repair

WARNING: Edges of the seat frame are sharp and burry, make sure to wear cut proof gloves under the procedure. Failure to follow this instruction may result to personal injury.

NOTE:

This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.

Remove the front row seat cushion.
Refer to: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
CAUTION: Make sure not to damage the surrounding components.
NOTE:
- If equipped.
- Drill diameter is 5.5 mm.

- With a suitable drill remove the 4 rivets.
  GENERAL EQUIPMENT: Electric drill
- Remove the plastic trim.
NOTE: Drill diameter is 5.5 mm.

- With a suitable drill remove the 2 rivets.
  GENERAL EQUIPMENT: Electric drill
- Remove the 2 front row seat pan brackets.
NOTE: Repeat this step for the other side.

- Install a new bracket pre assembly to the seat pan.
- Install and tighten the bolt and nut included in the repair kit.
  Torque : 10 Nm
CAUTION: Make sure not to damage the surrounding components.

NOTE: If equipped.

- Install the plastic trim.
- With a suitable tool install the 4 rivets included in the repair kit.
  GENERAL EQUIPMENT: Blind rivet gun
Install the front row seat cushion.
