Lower Control Arm (G2296775): Removal
CAUTION:
The suspension arm nuts and bolts must be tightened with the suspension arms in the normal ride position. Failure to follow this instruction may result in premature failure of the bush.
NOTE:

- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
- Before replacing the lower control arm, make sure to have followed the diagnosis and testing procedure.
Refer to: SUSPENSION ARMS .
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING .
- Remove the spring.
Refer to: SPRING .
Release the wiring harness from the front of the lower control arm.
Release the wiring harness from the rear of the lower control arm.
- Remove and discard the 2 bolts.
- Remove the lower control arm.

NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.
Remove the wiring harness and suspension height sensor link brackets.
