Driver Lower Airbag Module (G2305859): Removal
WARNING:
- To avoid accidental deployment, the Restraints Control Module (RCM) backup power supply must be depleted. Wait at least 2 minutes after disconnecting the startup battery ground cable(s) before doing any repair or adjustment to the Supplementary Restraint System (SRS), or any component(s) adjacent to the SRS sensors. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
- Do not probe SRS electrical connectors.
- The SRS electrical connectors are unique. DO NOT force, or attempt to connect electrical connectors to the wrong sockets.
NOTE:

- Make the airbag SRS
safe.

- Disconnect the 12V system.
Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT .
- Remove the 3 screws.
- Remove the trim.
- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Release the driver lower airbag module.
- Remove the 2 electrical connectors.
- Remove the driver lower airbag module.
