Seat Position Sensor - Notes On Removal/Replacement

The seat position sensor, a hall-effect sensor, is fitted to the underside of both the driver and passenger-side seats on NAS vehicles. It should be noted that these sensors cannot be re-installed when removed. If any work is undertaken that requires removal of the seat position sensor, a NEW sensor MUST be fitted. Note that different sensors are fitted to left and right seats, so care should be taken to make sure the correct replacement parts are installed
