The Clockspring (CLKSPG) is installed on the steering column to provide the electrical interface between the vehicle's fixed wiring harness and the steering wheel. The CLKSPG provides connections for the driver airbag, horn and steering wheel switchpacks, plus a high current power supply to the heated steering wheel.
