Positive Crankcase Ventilation System - Repair (G2956762): Removal

CAUTION: Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all openings must be sealed.

NOTE:

This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
Engine vent oil separator shown removed to provide extra clarity.

Remove the engine cover.
Refer to: ENGINE COVER - INGENIUM I4 2.0L PETROL .
NOTE:
- Make sure only a suitable plastic tool is used.
- Note the orientation of the components.
- Only the diaphragm and the cap are to be discarded. The remaining components are to be reused.

- Remove the positive crankcase ventilation valve assembly.
- Discard the diaphragm.
- Discard the cap.
