Instrument Cluster Lens (G2308917): Removal

CAUTION:
  • Care must be taken when handling the component. Do not place on a surface with the instrument cluster faced down. Failure to follow this instruction may damage the component.
  • Do not use excessive force to remove the component. Make sure that all fixings are fully released.
NOTE:
  • This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
  • This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
  1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT .

  2. Remove the instrument cluster.

    Refer to: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  .

    Remove the 4 bolts.

  4. CAUTION:
    • Use a suitable plastic trim tool to release the component.
    • Take extra care not to damage the component.
    NOTE: Release the clips in the indicated sequence.

    • Release the 7 clips.
    • Remove the instrument cluster lens.
