Information And Message Center (G2298523): Operation

The messages which can be displayed in the message center are mainly generated from other system control modules.

When a system control module detects a change or a fault which is tagged to generate a message, an electronic signal is sent. The message is sent through the High Speed (HS) Controller Area Network (CAN) buses to the IPC  , which displays the message. When more than 1 message is requested the message center displays them in order of priority.
