Differential Front Bush (G1775377): Removal

NOTE:
  • This procedure contains illustrations for left side components, right side components are similar.
  • This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
  • This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
  2. Remove the rear differential.

    Refer to: REAR DRIVE UNIT .

  3. NOTE: Note the orientation of the bushes prior to removal.

    • Install the special tools to the rear differential front bush.

      Special Tool(s): 205-860-01  , 205-860-02 

    • Install the special tool at point A.

      Special Tool(s): 204-598 

    • Install a suitable nut to the threaded bar.
    • Using the special tools remove the rear differential front bush.
