Rear Drive HALFSHAFTS - Vehicles With: PHEV (G2415234): Overview

The rear drive halfshafts transfer torque from the Electric Rear Axle Drive (eRAD) to the rear wheel hubs. Each rear halfshaft consists of 2 Constant Velocity joint (CV) that are connected by a tubular shaft. The CV  joints allow for angular deviations of the rear drive halfshafts due to suspension displacement. The CV  joints also maintain a torque transfer path between the eRAD  and the rear wheel hub.
