Front Row Seat Backrest (G2299201): Installation

The following step(s) applies to: 

All vehicles 

1. CAUTION: Make sure that the component is installed to the position noted on removal.

   Install the side airbag into the fabric bag.

2. Install the front row seat backrest.

   The following step(s) applies to: 

   Vehicles with climate controlled seats 

3. • Install the front row seat backrest vent element.
   • Secure the 2 clips.

   The following step(s) applies to: 

   All vehicles 

4. Install the front row seat backrest vent element support.

   The following step(s) applies to: 

   Vehicles with heated front seats 

5. • Install the front row seat backrest heater element.
   • Connect the electrical connector.

   The following step(s) applies to: 

   All vehicles 

6. • Install and tighten the 2 nuts.

     Torque  : 7 Nm 

   • Connect the electrical connector.
7. Install the front row seat backrest cover.

8. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

   Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS .
